As one of Ötztal's most rustic Alpine pastures, "die Stallwiese", as the locals call our Alpine pasture, is a destination for all mountain lovers looking for plenty of sunshine and good home-style food. "A guater Knedl, a home-made cake and a Kaiserschmorrn like friar", that's exactly what you get at "der Stallwiese".
The Stallwiesalm is located on Sölden's quiet side and therefore you can fully enjoy the tour far away from the hustle and bustle. If the 1.5-hour ascent wasn't enough for you, you can continue on to the Söldenkogel, Laubkarsee or the Hochstubaihütte.

We offer ideal conditions for excursions with children. The ascent from the Granbichl parking lot leads you along a wide forest path to our alpine pasture. A beautifully laid out and safe playground, which can be kept in view from the terrace, allows young and old to relax right from the start.

The Stallwiesalm is a popular destination for hikers. Whether via Granbichl or Rechenau - you can reach the alp in around 1.5 hours, covering around 500 meters in altitude over 5 km. For summiteers, there are tours to Söldenkogl, Laubkarsee, Hochstubaihütte, Nebelkogel or Wilde Leck.
The route to the Stallwiesalm is also worthwhile by bike: From the Freizeit Arena Sölden, the route leads over 5 km and 500 vertical meters directly to the hut. With an average gradient of 14% and a riding time of approx. 1 ¼ hours, the tour is very doable - and is rewarded with a magnificent view at the top!
